
Emily Wu is an active violinist, violist and teacher currently residing in Los Angeles, California. Born and raised in Taipei, Taiwan, Emily began her music career at the early age of 5. After receiving her undergraduate degree in violin performance from National Taiwan Normal University, Emily expanded her music career by earning her graduate certificate with full scholarship from Thornton School of Music at USC, under the tutelage of Kathleen Winkler and Peter Marsh.
Emily has worked with numerous world-renowned musicians such as Daniel Gaede, Seiji Kageyama, and Tsuyoshi Tsutsumi. With her love of music, Emily has been teaching violin, viola, and piano, and preparing students for competitions for over 15 years. Her goal in teaching extends beyond simply passing on her knowledge and skills but also imparting her passion for musical performance to her students.
